Seaweed assists in
healthy weight loss

Yes, with a natural diet, healthy weight loss is easier to achieve. We all know this but it's sooo much easier said than done.

Seaweed Questions?
Ask them here.

It looks like the battle of the bulge is one personal war we often fight, and just as often, lose. That’s because the times we live in greatly affect our lifestyle and impact our overall health.

Who has time to plan their own healthy weight loss program?

We rush to work, we eat on the run, we move less (except when we hurry to work), and we indulge in fast foods, hoping, subconsciously, that it will make us get to the office faster. And instead of going back to basics: eating right, sleeping well and exercising, we go on fad diets, hoping (again!) that this will make the fat miraculously melt away.

We even ask ourselves,
"Where did my belly fat come from?"

In order for you to achieve healthy weight loss, you have to stop fighting. Best thing to do is to understand your body. Find out why you're having difficulty in losing weight.

One could be that you just developed the wrong habits. If your parents are on the heavy side, you may have inherited most, if not all, of their eating habits, food choices and unhealthy lifestyle decisions. Another factor is the environment. We’re exposed to pollutants like smog and dirt and everyday stress. A third factor is our attitude towards exercise. No, jumping on the couch and fidgeting with the remote control doesn't fall under exercise!

If neglected, that uncontrolled weight gain may lead to obesity. And obesity is a host to a lot of life-threatening diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and stroke. But of course, you knew that.

So what do you do to achieve healthy weight loss?

Eating healthy is a good way to start. Avoid fatty foods and add more fruits and vegetables to your daily diet. Fruits and vegetables are not only cholesterol-free, they are rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fiber – essential nutrients needed by the body for overall health. In fact, if you want to give your body a boost, there’s an even richer source of vegetable protein – sea vegetables. Taking seaweed daily gets you to achieve healthy weight loss.

Ocean vegetables help remove cravings

Ocean vegetables are Mother Nature’s powerhouse foods. Our ancestors ate seaweed daily to stay healthy, even wrapped them around their neck so they could easily pop them in and chew. Seaweed provides a full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, protein, and fiber. They nourish our bodies where we need it most. In fact, when our bodies are fed well with the true nourishment we need, cravings for sweets banish! After all, cravings are just signals we get to let us that we are still “hungry”.

Ocean vegetables fuel our bodies to burn fat

Fiber present in seaweed stimulates our intestines to function properly... and another plus: it prevents us from overeating! What’s more, ocean vegetables contain a good amount of Omega-3 which works with other nutrients to help reduce fat storage. Balance this with other foods in the food pyramid and you’re off to a good start in keeping your weight down.

And if we put our mind to it, healthy weight loss is no mission impossible.
