High content of sodium in seaweed

There does tend to be high sodium levels in seaweed. How to avoid this issue, since the relationship between sodium and hypertension is strong?

Salt and Kelp

Bull Kelp Seaweed (Nereocystis leutkeana) salty taste is mostly from Potassium rather than Sodium. That is why kelp powder or kelp flakes are often used as a low sodium table salt substitute.

high sodium in seaweed

some species of seaweed is having high amount sodium and some of high potassium eg.kappaphycus.

Most of the people are using seaweed for agri purpose as a plant nutrients that is because of high potassium in seaweed.
