How to prepare salted seaweed

I love the Seaweed salad typically eaten in Japanese restaurants and would like to try making it at home. I purchase salted seaweed, kaneryo kasio ogonori, at my local Japanese grocery. Is there a trick to preparing the seaweed and removing the salt? Do you just rinse it a lot? Or does it need to be soaked and rinsed to remove the salt?
